“Distilled to its essence it boils down to *Love*
if you knew what love is
you would be a millionaire
it you knew what love ain’t
you wuld be a billionaire.”

Thank you for sharing!!.. “Just because you feel someone does not love you as much as they should, does not mean they don’t give you all the love they have” (Author Unknown)… 🙂
Happy Valentines day and on this day, and every day..
May flowers always line your path
and sunshine light your way,
May songbirds serenade your
every step along the way,
May a rainbow run beside you
in a sky that’s always blue,
And may happiness fill your heart
each day your whole life through.
May the sun shine all day long
Everything go right, nothing go wrong
May those you love bring love back to you
And may all the wishes you wish come true
(Irish Saying)
Exactly. I call it getting on and off the train lol Some people hop on at one stop and show you a few things, then they hop off and allow space for others to show something else.
That’s very true and extremely realistic. We can love unconditionally but no one is ever going to fulfill all our expectations or our wants and needs. And we can never do the same for anyone else. I think we set young people up to fail if we perpetuate the myth of finding the perfect mate. That’s not possible. Some people are better matches than others. But perfection is not attainable. Any relationship takes work and compromise

😭 to our detriment. Maybe if we teach the next generation a little differently, we can change this idea.

You can ask, it’s can you accept the answer you are given 😏

Lol exactly! And it’s a hard pass for me 😂

I see a problem with asking. That implies that the person isn’t fine the way they are.
I think of “ask and ye shall receive.” I guess you can always ask, but you might not get what you want!

Lol I think we’ll never get this ask in particular. There’s always gonna be something a person falls short on…don’t ya think?

I agree! I mean you don’t even know what everything is, muchless if you want it. Lol

Yes so true. It is our individual journey and growth and people simply assist in different parts of it through different relations.

The failure of high expectations. Sigh. Whatever happened to accepting someone for who they are and not who you want them to be?

To me, a successful relationship now is not saying you have Covid-19 and quarantining just to get away from your partner for two weeks
