I love how she includes “financial wellness” as part of her program. It’s important and often forgotten. Being in debt is one of the worst stresses there is. π

Totally agree. This was one of my favorite parts too. A lot of times we don’t see how an aspect, like finance can be associate with self love.

I’m very honored that you thought about me for this. It’s such an awesome idea. I’d love to participate. What all would I need to do?

On my 50th birthday, I invited 21 of my girlfriends to a day of pampering. I rented a limo SUV and treated everyone to massages or facials at Ponte Vedra Spa, then we came back and I hosted dinner at Capital Grill. It was so much fun to have my girlfriends enjoying a day of pampering with me

I treated a good friend to a Thai massage on her birthday and the result was that she suggested we have lunch and a massage together once a month! It was a fabulous idea and another one of the self loving habits I’ve adopted over the last year.
I saw an eye doctor, yesterday, and she commented that I was “taking care of myself” after I shared the long list of supplements I have been taking. All of it has paid off for me with better health.
There are so many benefits to self-love. The flip side, of berating ourselves, leads only to feelings of worthlessness and despair. I am all about making life better for myself now. I deserve it!
Great post and shares, Katherin!

Thanks for sharing this story Judy. I think it shows two things. One is that sometimes we think loving ourselves equals not loving others, which you’ve shown is the opposite. In fact, it sounds as if your friend liked her massage so much, she wanted to spread the love to you and now you two have a self-care practice you do together. The second thing is that self-love starts with an inward focus and then vibes outwardly, which has shown in how you care for your eyes.
Thanks again for the compliment Judy. Glad these are already resonating with you.
