Oh Kathy this is beautiful. Thank you for sharing this photo. I get the sense that he’s just loving her. Do you as well? If you like, you’re welcome to contribute this blog post for #ForgivingFridays. Seems like such a wonderful representation of human caring beyond right and wrong (whatever that means!)
Lots of love to you Kathy. Debbie
Thank you Debbie! You’re welcome. I’m glad you’ve received the message I was trying to convey. Love doesn’t end because of your circumstances. I have another blog, I’ve especially written just for Forgiving Fridays. I’ll link on 2/28. Love and light back to you ❤
I agree with Anika on how there are a lot of emotions captured in just one photo, without even fully seeing their faces. Makes me wonder what the circumstances are, what happened in that person’s life, what that man is saying. Raises a lot of curiosity and questions. Well captured! x
So many emotions are raised with this photo…of sadness for these people but also tenderness and care of what looks like concern and worry. A glimpse into their lives…open to public view.
This really puts a face (two faces) on a park full of homeless people. You can ignore a faceless mass, but seeing individuals makes us more empathetic. We want to know and understand their stories. The sleeper is so peaceful-looking, as if she feels safe there. Perhaps she isn’t even aware of the other person’s presence? Very intriguing, KE. 🙂
Riiiight! At first, I thought I’d take on of the entire scene, but as I observed these two, I thought I’d just make it all about them…in the moment. Thanks Joan!
That picture speaks volumes. There’s something so caring about the way he’s looking at her. I’m really curious wondering what story this tells. Is he asking her for something? Is he expressing affection? So many possibilities! 🙂
I thought so too. They were actually in a park, filled with homeless people. They were all lying down with all of their personal belongings strewn across the lawn.
Absolutely beautiful!❤️

Thanks Annika! That’s what I was going for in capturing this moment. It’s like a lot of love, but the circumstances aren’t ideal (for me).

…but I thought this moment kind of humanized these two.
