You have a talent for seeing what others do not see and capturing it on film. These photos of homeless folks get me in “the feels” and make me want to do more to help. Most just want to be acknowledged, looked in the eye, asked about their name and their story, treated like human beings. 🙂
Awww Joan! I really really appreciate your compliment and subsequent words. Happy to hear (although that’s not quite the right term lol), but I’m happy to hear that these get you in your “feels” 🙂 I think you’re totally right, not only about the homeless population, but everyone. We all want to be seen, but oftentimes, if we have nothing to offer society (allegedly), then we become that much more invisible.
God that is beautiful. I see the good in this man and situation. Many blessings to you and to these inspiring images. Kathy they are full of grace. Awareness is so powerful.
This is searing…

A moving image, Kathy. And a timely remind as we celebrate holidays to open our hearts to the less fortunate.

Oh boy, that’s some rough living. As my former boss used to say, “There but for the grace of God go I”. I wonder what his story is.

This could be a picture of my homeless son. Possibly a photo for my memoir cover?
