GURL!!!! I like birds and s/he is beautiful and erything but I would have died if that joker was near my porch! LOL!!!!
Horrified, even!
ROTFLMBAO.
By the way, I do get that this was not your house 🙂 LOL!!!!
Lady G, do you know that bird is like five feet tall??? I didn’t realize until I saw it. They seem pretty harmless, though. They kinda dig around in the grass looking for I don’t know what (insects maybe)? But I totally understand. I tried to stay as far away as I could. Luckily, my new camera has an AMAZING zoom lol
Glad to see you back in the blogosphere ma’am 😉
Thanks Joan! Let me tell you about this bird. I watched him for a while. What he was doing is trying to get to the fish who are just below, but there for “decoration,” so to speak. There was a gate thing that blocked him and so he would pace back and forth and stick his neck through the gate like he was trying to figure it out lol He never did get the fish.
Have a great Christmas, wherever you may be. Do they hang lights on the palm trees in St. Augustine? 🙂

Ha! They do hang them in Florida, in general. Being from the north it’s something I still haven’t gotten quite used to lol and same to you Anna!

Which museum? Is that Saint Augustine, FL?

It’s the Lightner Museum. You live in St. Augustine? Did I know this?

We are on the Central Gulf Coast but St. Augustine would be the spot to retire to.

Wow, you really met this beautiful creature. And got a perfect photo.
Do they wander around town unbothered like this?

They absolutely do! I see them all over the state, but this one was super comfortable, right in front of an art museum.
