βThe moon is a loyal companion.
It never leaves. Itβs always there, watching, steadfast, knowing us in our light and dark moments, changing forever just as we do. Every day itβs a different version of itself. Sometimes weak and wan, sometimes strong and full of light. The moon understands what it means to be human.
Uncertain. Alone. Cratered by imperfections.β

Wow, Kathy. This is so nice. Elegant comes to mind. The color is luminescent.
Tomorrow, I’m facilitating an online intro “Self-Forgiveness and Relationships”. Can you keep it in your prayers? Thank you! I love you.
Blessings, my friend. Debbie
Kathy, this is lovely, full of magic and mystery, Oh, it’s so tricky to get good moon photos, I have dozens and dozens of terrible ones…the camera really struggles (of course it has nothing to do with the photographer!! ππ)
Beautiful! I never get the moon or sunsets to look as good on my phone as they do in real life. I’ve decided I’m meant to enjoy them and not try to capture them.
Yes. Yes. Sometimes I resign to that fact too. Other times, I stand there for several minutes being mad about it, as if others cannot simply look up at the sky like I did lol
YES!! Drives me crazy…I’ll see gorgeous moons and nothing I try works. Pics on my phone, pics on my Canon — none of them really capture the magic of the moon.
I do. Why is it so much bigger in the sky than in my camera? Your picture is lovely.

lol moon pics are the worst, especially on a phone camera. I was fortunate enough to have an actual camera with me. Thanks for the compliment!

What a beautiful ode to the moon! Thanks for sharing it.

When the moon looks like it does at your photo, I always think it’s a mirror of the Earth.

A good camera with a zoom lens and a steady hand will do it.

Beautiful photo, Kathy. It has an Oriental look/feel to it.

Thanks Neil! I hadn’t thought of that. Maybe the telephone pole makes it look like that?

Right. The poles and branches sort of look like Chinese or Japanese letters.

lol – I feel you! What type of Canon do you have? The one I have has a perfect zoom.

It so is! Especially on a phone. Whenever we have a super moon it just doesn’t look as super in my pic lol

Most definitely! That’s why I stopped using my phone. They always look like white globs of nothingness lol
