Inspiring Image #64: Age Ain’t Nothing But A Number

My oldest goddaughter was kind enough to surprise me with a new camera after she graduated with her MSW! Who does that??? Anywho, I’ve been over the moon about it and the first place I decided to try it out is Atlantic Beach. The zoom on this beauty is 42x!!! That’s how I was able to capture a man waaaaay out in the ocean paddle surfing.

Hope you enjoy future “Inspiring Images”!

  1. Kathy, this is a great photo and have using your new camera with its super zoom! How kind to be given present on her graduation! The first time I saw paddle boarding was in Florida last September and it looked a lot of fun, alas the water was never still enough for me to have a go…and then someone mentioned sharks! 😀

    1. Thanks Annika! I was thoroughly surprised about this gift. I’ve been practicing with it ever since! More photos are on the way 😉 Oh, yes. Sharks have been a little farther inland the past few years; I suppose it’s because of changing waters 😦

  2. Fantastic shot! I saw on a late night show people of 80 until 90 years old, who formed a hip-hop dancing group! And I was thinking ‘we (as younger people and if healthy) really have no excuse to not follow our dreams…’.

  3. Great photo, love the variety of blues in the sky and ocean. And the man looks so calm and self-assured, the complete opposite of what I would be in his situation. Love the zoom and clarity, your goddaughter is a good egg. 🙂
