    I’ve always admired the quote: “….With firmness in the right, as God gives us to see the right, let us strive on to finish the work we are in, to bind up the nation’s wounds.”

    Most people don’t really understand the difference between “involvement” and “commitment.” Lincoln sure did.

    It’s like “Ham” and “Eggs.”
    The chicken is involved;
    The pig is committed. 😉

      I like how you separate involvement and commitment. Understanding the difference between the two can not only solve nation’s wounds, but also some relationship woes.

    1. Jeez Louise, this is so true! I try to keep up with what our prez is doing, but some days, I have to do as you said, “look elsewhere.” It’s so easy to get swept up in the negativity of it all.
