So true Pam! Have to remind myself that some times, cause I like things now, now, now! You think so? Funny all the different perspectives on this little turtle.
Gorgeous! At first, I thought it might be a sculpture; it looked a bit like a steel drum?? You capture the most interesting things with your camera, KE! 🙂
I’ve never seen a turtle like that! A couple of years ago, I was driving westbound and in the eastbound lane was a very large tortoise (well, large for our area — his shell was about the size of a dishplate). I figured he’d taken very careful steps for a long time to get to the size he was. Slow, steady and calculated!
Oh wow! That is large! I don’t know how they get on, really and truly. It’s amazing to me. I haven’t seen one like this either. His face came across quite distinct for the picture.
Very true. Hope this little turtle was a reminder. In fact, I saw him again today, right there in the middle of the road with his neck stretched out. I don’t know how he makes it from day to day, slowly I guess.
Slow is great progress at times. Nice shell that turtle has.

This turtle is something else! LOL. I’m normally the type of person to have patience issues. I like now too!

Really…it’s a walking oil slick with a tiny elephant nose. How big was this creature? I may have nightmares…

Almost an alien quality to its shell – but one with a death wish! Great photo!

Most definitely with a death wish cause he’s always in the middle of the dang road!

I thought so too Bun, but quite honestly I was so worried that I chose to walk the long way back home just in case he didn’t make it

Thanks Joan! I was so afraid for the poor thing that if I wasn’t afraid, I would’ve picked him up and put him into safety.

I’m not sure. All I know is he was very, very, very slow.
